About The Reddings & District Community Centre

The Reddings and District Community Association is a self -governing body under the terms of its’ constitution. The centre is administered by a Management Committee of Trustees who volunteer their time for the benefit of maintaining favourable hire rates for local groups and residents and maintain its genuine status as a centre for the community.

Trustees are elected for a two year term at the Annual General Meeting of the Association which takes place on the Second Monday of March each year. Trustees are usually, but not exclusively, nominated from representatives of users of the hall who have a background of serving the community through their own groups.

The Reddings and District Community Association is a Charity Registered with the Charity Commission. The Registration Number is 266092. The Association is bound by the rules of the Charity Commission and by the Association’s Constitution. The “Official Custodian of Charities” is the Association’s Custodian Trustee.

Main Hall

The main hall measures 16.4 metres x 8.5 metres (including stage) and has a ceiling height of 3.55 metres. The floor is Maple strip wood and has a fixed stage of 1.8 metres wide. Three large opening doors lead onto the garden which act as fire doors.

There is a shuttered hatch that gives access to the main kitchen and there is another smaller hatch and sink area on the opposite side of the entrance door. Lockable storage cupboards are positioned along the wall which can be hired by regular user groups when available.

Small Hall and Kitchen

The small hall measures 8.4 metres x 7.3 metres and has a ceiling height of 2.60 metres. The floor is Maple strip wood and has two large opening doors lead onto the garden which act as fire doors.

There is a shuttered hatch that gives access to the main kitchen.

Defibrillator Machine on site

The community center takes the safety and well-being of its visitors very seriously, which is why they have taken a proactive step to ensure the availability of a defibrillator machine on-site.

This life-saving device is strategically placed within the premises, easily accessible in case of a medical emergency.

Outdoor Area

The community center boasts an inviting outdoor area that serves as a hub for social interactions and recreational activities. With well-manicured green spaces and ample seating, the outdoor area offers a refreshing retreat for community members of all ages.
